Cancer burden

80% of people diagnosed with cancer worldwide lives in low and middle-income countries. Although developing countries succeed in treating cancer, the decimal survival rates remain in the LMICs as there is a lack of new Therapies and infrastructure.

Cancer incidences keep increasing at a high rate in Rwanda, and even globally, it is a significant public health that can’t be neglected; it requires investment and support from the government and different Non-governmental organizations.
